>>3684Nelly never had an interracial relationship. Doesnt it make sense for American media to worship building the identity of the American Race?
Instead, I've noticed that America tends to emphasize same-race relationships when it comes to rappers and r&b artists in America. I think this is a betrayal of American values.
For America to emphasize a sentiment of black racial separatism seems to be hypocritical in the values of democracy, multiracial/cultural society, the ideological melting pot, but ultimately, in the goals of constructing the new race, the American Race.
I think America should either double down, own up to its identity and values, or just celebrate its racist culture in the petty tribalism that can be expressed in the human race.
If I recall correctly however, the idea of the human race expressing petty tribalism is something that belonged to "the old world" something that belongs to dictatorships and monarchies. America was always supposed to be an idea of progressing past racial tribalism to build a new human identity beyond and above the old humanity that was held back by attachment to religion, race, and culture.
