Welcome to Nichan, a Ukrainian anonymous imageboard: a forum for talking with text and pictures, with no registration, names or nicknames. The site is split into boards by topic, and every board into threads.
Press [Reply] on the first post of a thread. On the thread page write your message and/or attach up to 4 files. To answer a particular post, click its number: a link like >>123 is inserted into your message. Hovering over such a link (or tapping it on a phone) shows the post it points to.
Open the board (for example /int/), press [Start a New Thread], write the message, attach a picture and press New Topic.
The post form has two modes: Visual (what you see is what you get, with buttons for bold, italic, spoilers and so on) and Text (plain markup). Text markup:
monospaceOn /int/ every post has a [translate] button that translates the post into your browser's language right on the page. Press it again to see the original.
Under the post form there is a Word filter button. Add words or regular expressions there; posts containing them are hidden on your device. The list is stored in your browser only.
Nichan can be installed as an app with its own icon on the home screen. Android, Chrome: the three-dot menu → Add to Home screen (or Install app) → Install. Computer, Chrome or Edge: menu → Install app. The Install Nichan as an app link at the bottom of the page explains it for your browser. iPhone and iPad: in Safari press Share → Add to Home Screen.
/int/ is the only board where you can speak any language you want. All other boards are Ukrainian-speaking only; posts in other languages are deleted.
Spam and wipe (flooding threads with repeated posts) are not allowed and lead to a ban.
We do not tolerate any propaganda of Ukrainian separatism, elimination of the independence of Ukraine or any of its territories; denial of the Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people; disrespect towards the Ukrainian state, its people, language and culture, or towards the flag and state symbols of Ukraine; promotion of any anti-Ukrainian ideas or activities; communist, fascist, nazi or russian imperial agitation or propaganda.
We do not tolerate any distribution of child pornography or any other materials prohibited by the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Adult (18+) content is not allowed.
Press the triangle ▶ right after the post number, choose Report, write the reason and press Report. Moderators get the report immediately.
The triangle ▶ after a post number also lets you hide the post, reply to it, delete your own post (with the password the form filled in for you, or just its file) and, on the first post of a thread, save the thread. Saved threads from all boards are listed under Saved threads, below the word filter.
