You should try it, it's pretty easy

Kholodets' sounds interesting, I'll try it someday; this week, I hope

I want to try homemade baba ghanoush. Some Greek restaurants sell it here, but it's overpriced.

Kholodets' makes me vomit just from the thought of it.

This babaganoush looks a lot like hummus. I love hummus. But we never made it ourselves, I usually buy it from a supermarkt.

do they sell it already made over there ? !?

Yeah, I've seen some supermarkets selling baba ghanoush over here. I usually prefer to buy hummus and eat it with tortilla chips while drinking, it's a good munchies combo.

Nah. They're obsessed with tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos: bell peppers are used sparingly, and olives are used for only certain dishes or occasions.

Sorry what? We call 'green bananas' as in 'not yet developed bananas', bad, the bananas that need some time more to be ready to eat.
